A little about me.......
My name is Lisa Schwenneker, and I am the owner and photographer of Wild Orchid Photography. Besides being a photographer, I am mom to two wild kiddos, an elementary art teacher, and a yoga and ocean lover. I went to art school in collage, leaving with a B.F.A in fashion design, and a minor in ceramics. In the years since, the focus of my creativity has taken different forms but I have always loved designing and creating. And so it lead me to photography- first as a mother wanting to have great photos of my own family, and then as I dove deeper I have discovered photography as the perfect blend of design and creativity.
Being self taught, I have spent the last years honing my craft as a photographer. Besides portraits of people, I also enjoy photographing nature in artistic and abstract ways. I love learning. My passion for photography lies in capturing beautiful, authentic, real moments in life and relationships, where true love lies...
I live and play on the East side of the Big Island, HI, and am able to travel to many amazing locations around the island. Please contact me with any and all questions and requests for your own unique photo shoot!
